  • [Q] Are your cabinets Ready to Assemble (RTA) or are they pre-assembled?

    [A] The cabinets come unassembled, but they can be assembled as part of your installation package.

  • [Q] What are Ready to Assemble (RTA) cabinets?

    [A] Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) cabinets are individually packaged cabinets that require assembly prior to installation.

  • [Q] Are the cabinet doors solid wood?

    [A] Yes, the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and face frames are constructed using ¾" Birch hardwood. Raised panel doors feature solid center panels except for painted product which is a solid MDF panel. Recessed panel doors feature hand selected veneers to eliminate “zebra stripes” with solid MDF panels.

  • [Q] Does RTA Cabinet Wholesalers cabinetry contain any particleboard?

    [A] Our cabinets are made from solid Birch hardwoods and furniture grade plywood. There is absolutely no particleboard contained in our cabinetry. Our plywood is also CARB2 compliant for restricted formaldehyde emissions.

  • [Q] How are your drawers constructed?

    [A] Our cabinetry features 4-sided drawer boxes constructed from ?” thick solid hardwood featuring dovetail joints and fully captured ?” thick plywood floor. Drawers slide smoothly on an under mount full extension soft close drawer glide.

  • [Q] Do your cabinets have “soft close” doors?

    [A] Yes, a “soft-close” door feature is standard with RTA Cabinet Wholesalers cabinets, except for the Madison Cherry and Shaker Spice lines.

  • [Q] How is the interior of the cabinet finished?

    [A] All cabinets feature a sanitary, wipe-clean, UV coated natural finished interior. There is no need for shelf paper or shelf liner material.

  • [Q] Are these cabinets strong enough to support a granite top?

    [A] Our “all plywood” construction insures the strength required to support granite, concrete or any other countertop material that you may select. No additional cabinet reinforcement is required.

  • [Q] Do I need a finished panel for the exposed cabinet ends?

    [A]No, all side panels and frames are stained or painted to match the doors.

  • [Q] How are these cabinets constructed compared to the cabinetry at national Big Box retailers?

    [A] Compared to the Big Box retailers where each feature is an additional charge and stock is limited, our standard construction requirements include all plywood constructions, wood dovetail drawers, under mount drawer glides, self-closing drawer glides, concealed drawer hinges, ?" & ¾" shelves, and solid hardwood face frames at no upgrade charge and shipped direct from our fully stocked local warehouse.

    [A] All orders will be ready in 3-5 business days.

    [A] Yes, we have a dedicated design team that will work with you via phone and email to bring your kitchen to life. For customers in the Greater Atlanta Area, you can visit our showroom to work with our designers in person.

    [A] Touch up kits are available in every color.

    [A] Our cabinets have a manufacturer's limited 5 year warranty period.

  • [Q] How can I be sure your cabinetry will stand up to my family’s everyday wear and tear?

    [A] RTA Cabinet Wholesalers cabinetry proudly displays the KCMA certification seal which means it complies with the rigorous standards set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in cooperation with the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).

  • [Q] Will the cabinet finish stand up to the cleaning products I use in my kitchen and bath?

    [A] RTA Cabinet Wholesalers uses a catalyzed varnish topcoat that is specially formulated to protect wood from moisture and everyday household cleaners. Do not use any products on your cabinetry that you would also not use on any of your other home furniture.
